Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. Her birth date was the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox went to the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 70s. She studied the harpsichord and flautist piano over 3 years. She was able to survive on a student allowance and worked part-time to supplement her budget. Lennox as she was studying in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was not happy about her performances compared to that of her classmates. She began considering different options. Lennox played the flute in the 1976 group called Dragons Playground. But she quit before the band was requested to take part in I.T.V.'s talent show New Faces. She sang lead to The Tourists (a British popband) between 1977 and 1980. In this band, she met Dave Stewart who would later form Eurythmics.
