Aubrey Plaza is a comedian and actor born in the month of June, 1984. The wit of her deadpan personality has made her a popular choice in comedy. Plaza can be seen as April Ludgate in "Parks and Recreation". After having performed improv and sketch at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater she began her career on "The Jeannie Tate Show" as well as later in "Funny People", "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World", and other web series. Let's celebrate her birthday today. Aubrey Christina Plaza, daughter of financial advisor David Plaza and attorney Bernadette Plaza, was born in Wilmington Delaware. Their father, David Plaza is Puerto Rican, while her mother is Irish and English. Plaza received a degree from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts as well as an Catholic girls' college, each in the year 2002. In her senior year of High School, she served as President of the Student Government at her school and performed in Wilmington Drama League performances. Plaza was struck by a stroke in 2004 while she was in the final year of her career. She suffered from expressive aphasia and suffered an ephemeral period of weakness. Plaza is fully recovering.
